The STAIRS cups are the result of a reflection on the idea of a stackable shape
The STAIRS cups are the result of a reflection on the idea of a stackable shape that can be combined with the CUT UP plates.
Their shape is strongly inspired by ancient and modern architecture, reminiscent of Roman amphitheaters, Mexican temples or even certain modernist architectures such as the Gugenheim Museum in New York.
This cup is handmade in white porcelain and fired at high temperature. The outside of the cup is left rough while the inside is coated with a transparent glossy enamel to allow optimal cleaning and to play on the very minimalist glossy/matte contrast.
It is suitable for daily use and is dishwasher and microwave safe.
Each piece is unique because it is handmade and can therefore present slight variations, which is a guarantee of their authenticity.
