Our brand combines the beauty of mouth-blown glass with the splendour of top-of-the-range Made in France fragrances. PERYA scented candles are eco-responsible and their unique design, created by air bubbles embedded in the glass structure, guarantees an incredible lighting effect.
Our aim is to give our customers an exceptional experience with our unique glass candles. A 2-in-1 product, after its first life, our candle will become a beautiful candle jar.
What made you want to become a designer?
What drove us to create our own brand was our love of aesthetics and our desire to create objects that also delight the senses. The real satisfaction comes from the process of the choice of fragrances, patterns and colours.
Do you have a favourite material? If so, what is it?
Our favourite material is the highest quality glass, which is 100% recycled. We chose glass for its timeless beauty, its transparency that lets the light through and its ability to capture the delicate air bubbles created when the containers are mouth-blown. So each of our candles is a work of art created by master glassmakers.
What type of products do you make?
We mainly create mouth-blown candles made from recycled glass and containing air bubbles, which serve as both scented candles and elegant photohpores. Our aim is to create objects that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Objects that light up interiors and create a warm atmosphere, combining design and fragrance. These are much more than just candles. We work with Polish craftsmen and a family-run factory in Grasse, which helps us to create exclusive fragrances of the highest quality.
Are you sensitive to ethical and environmental issues?
Yes, we are extremely sensitive to ethical and environmental issues. We firmly believe that a responsible company, even a small manufacturer, must contribute to the protection of our planet through its actions. That's why we use local and European raw materials, we only use vegetable waxes from verified sources, our glass comes from recycled sources, as does the decorative cardboard packaging. Our products are not tested on animals either.
How do you apply this principle to your products (certification, labelling, recycling, etc.)?
We use safe, certified ingredients in the production of our candles. The vegetable wax is 100% natural and vegan. It contains no synthetic additives, emits no toxins, does not smoke and is biodegradable. Our Grasse fragrances are IFRA-certified. They contain no phthalates. Our premium collection candles are packaged in an elegant carton made from FSC-certified recycled paper and a blend of wool and cotton fibres. Textile by-products from carding, spinning and weaving are used in its manufacture. The elegance of the candle's packaging is enhanced by a logo with silver hot stamping. The packaging is recyclable. What's more, our glassware is made from recycled glass, which helps to reduce waste. Glass is an elegant material that can be recycled over and over again.
