Who are The Motleys?
The Motleys are a series of decorative wooden figurines that represent different historical and cultural icons from around the world. In creating simple and contemporary stylised characters that are instantly recognisable, the Motleys aim to promote the culture of humanity and equally put a smile on people’s faces.
This philosophy of gratitude to our environment is deeply engrained within everything we do to create the Motleys. Characters are designed and produced with the highest quality natural materials so they can last for generations. Only biodegradable and non-bleached packaging material is used to protect our little characters while they are in transit. You won’t find any plastic, bubble wrap or harmful polystyrene packaging anywhere near a Motley.
However, we are not naive to think that this is enough! Manufacturing of any kind is obviously, a use of our environment recourses and the Motleys are no different. To offset this we pledge to plant 5 trees for every Motley sold to support Eden project reforestation efforts across the world. This is a pledge we have made from the very beginning and we intend to do as much as we can.
Who we are?
We are a pair of friends, colleagues who work together in our sister design studio. We created the Motleys to be able to realise and share this cool idea with the rest of the world.
