Cave Textile Design is London-based studio that creates capsule collections and bespoke pieces using traditional handcraft, artwork and natural fibres. It was founded in 2017 by Karolina Suchanek. She was inspired by the paintings found in the Chauvet Cave in southern France and the idea of caves being the first human home. Carefully handmade in artisan mills, each piece of fabric is designed to become part of home.
Karolina is a multidisciplinary designer with a foundation rooted in industrial design. She studied Industrial Design at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Art in Crakow before going on to study Textile Design at Central Saint Martins in London.
