Crumble_01 3D printed vase, sandstone and transparent glaze.

This vase is digitally generated using an algorithm that modulates the surface in a random way, producing a texture similar to a drape or a rough sea. Each vase is produced on demand, giving them a unique status thanks to the surprises that the earth produces in a digital fabrication process.

Crumble_01 is a continuation of the work of a digital craftsman hybridizing natural materials (such as clay) and 3D printing machines. The digitally generated parametric file produces a form of undulation, in a search for the formal language of 3D printing machines.
