Continua is a furniture system that can be freely assembled using just a few rules. The modules are made of wood and a vertical grid of steel bars forms the main structure. Each element is responsible for the stability of the other one. This self-assembly furniture doesn’t need any tool!
The possibility to disassembly and re-assembly the system, as well as to expand it, offers high flexibility for the user. Continua is sustainable because it can assume a new configuration every time a new need or space requirement shows up.
Originally designed as a bookshelf, thanks to many configurations of this system, Continua can be used to organize, divide or even create a room within a room. What is going to be your favorite form?
Continua was developed with the entire life cycle in mind. Thinking in terms of circular economy, the system can already be imagined in a later state of use: from the bookcase to the green wall, to the urban vegetable garden.
