The Lavala vase is handthrown on the wheel by artist Guðbjörg Káradóttir herself and is every item uniqe in both size and shape.
The insperation for the Lavala vase is the icelandic nature. The artist was looking at pebbles by the sea and how they lign up on the shore and make an interesting patterns in nature.
