Rose Quartz is one of the two shades chosen as Pantone colors for the year 2016, as it provides an « antidote to modern day stresses » : its warmth should indeed help us to keep smiling as the time passed by … Valentine’s day should decide you all to incorporate this shade in our deco : Hopefully valentine’s day drops straight down. It will lead to forget the nostalgia to the single and boost your romantic karma if you are in couple. Let’s dare pink…
On a masterpiece :
The famous Togo sofa from Ligne Roset in its pink version makes us want to curl up and lie down until the end of winter. More slender, the Ruché sofa designed by Inga Sempé from the same editor has dimension which suit better in the small inside. The good idea : The stripped down decor around the masterpiece to avoid the « Barbie » look !
On the wall :
Spotted on http://www.milkdecoration.com/, Cinder Rose from Farrow & Ball dresses delightfully the kitchen in the Italian architect Andrea Marcante’ flat. The good idea: break the girly feel by associating pink with raw materials such as wood panelling while highlighting its valuable aspect with copper suspensions !
In total look :
Risky but effective, the staging playing on 50 shades of pink by architect Pierre Yovanovitch ! The good idea: choose furniture with rigorous lines to underline the elegance of the colour.
A shopping selection with the Bina Baitel’s side table Napa.
